Mirrors by Vipp

Anyone that has tried to find an attractive, minimalist mirror knows that it is not as simple a task as one might expect. Danish design house Vipp makes the job easier with their recently released series of straightforward, highest-quality mirrors. The options are limited to three sizes, framed in powder-coated stainless steel, and available in the same colour options as their bathroom modules.

Drawings by Tobias Hutzler

In his Drawings series of photographs, German-born, New York Based artist Tobias Hutzler has, in an unusual way, captured the magical energy of light. Inspired by Picasso’s light drawings, the stark desert backgrounds and Hutzler’s simple compositions work with a little camera manipulation to create truly striking images.

Ami SS14

With the Palais de Tokyo staged as a 1950s airport terminal, Alexandre Mattiussi presented his Spring 2014 collection for Ami; a direct nod to the traveling man.

This man-on-the-go was either headed out on vacation or returning from one, combining his polished, practical travel wear with perhaps a piece or two from his journeys. Those tailored, simple staples, artfully mixed with tropical prints and camouflage, remind us that Ami is all about separates; that is to say a collection that can be mixed easily with other pieces from the line (or your closet), but one that lends itself to an uncomplicated pulled-togetherness, Mattiussi’s hallmark.
